About Eleonora

Being a daughter of Italian parents, born and raised in the Netherlands, put immigration, dual citizenship and the freedom of being a foreigner everywhere, at my core. As a consequence it seemed natural that I found a profession that made me move around.

My passion for dance started with the magnificent Svetlana Moesatowa. She studied and danced at The Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, and taught me the essence of what it means to be a dancer. Her lessons were demanding but wildly inspiring. I was 6 and hooked for life.

After my Ballet foundation more inspiring teachers followed; Louise Pot, the first Afro-American dancer at the Nederlands Ballet, now National Ballet, introduced me to jazz dance. Len van der Maaten infused me with tap and theater classes. Glenn van der Hof former Djazzex director encouraged me to audition for the Rotterdam Dance Academy now called Codarts. I got admitted and met a wonderful mentor and Mattox teacher in Dick O’Swanborn.

I spent 4 intensive years at the academy studying various dance techniques like Graham, Cunningham, Limon, Horton, a plenitude of Jazz, Ballet, Drama classes and related subjects. Also studying didactics and pedagogics I came away with a thorough understanding in dance education and the wish to perform.

My interest for theater grew and alongside the contemporary imprint of the Rotterdam Dance Academy, I developed my acting skills, and started taking singing classes. I worked in Modern dance projects, Musicals, TV, voice-over synchronisation, corporate and trade shows. After a key experience playing Diana Morales in A Chorus Line, I auditioned for Kim Duddy in Aachen, Germany, for a new show by the Alan Parsons’ Project called ‘Gaudi.’ Meeting Kim Duddy would influence the path i was on. She gave me the opportunity to work with, and learn from her on numerous creative projects in theater and in life. New horizons opened. From Aachen I went to Cats in Antwerp, to Tanz der Vampire in Vienna, to Falco meets Amadeus in Berlin, and many other productions.

Through the years I started to be interested in the choreographic process and worked as an assistant and associate of directors and choreographers.

Currently I am working on and off stage: acting, dancing, singing, choreographing, staging, directing movement, casting, coaching, teaching, and sharing what I learned, I love to consult in creative projects and am always open to travel beyond and explore new territories.
